Safety information

Ensuring the safety and security of our guests is our top priority

Fire Extinguisher

In the ski room, you'll find a readily accessible powder extinguisher for emergencies. The kitchen is equipped with a fire blanket specifically for kitchen fires. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with their locations and operation upon arrival.

Smoke detectors

Hyttekos Lodge is equipped with four strategically placed smoke detectors, each featuring heat, smoke, and CO sensors to promptly detect any signs of smoke, fire, or carbon monoxide. These detectors are regularly maintained to ensure they function optimally. In the event that a smoke detector alarms, please evacuate the premises immediately and contact emergency services. Your safety is our priority.

First aid kit

For minor injuries or medical emergencies, a well-equipped first aid kit is provided in the hallway closets. The kit includes essential supplies such as bandages, antiseptic wipes, gauze pads, adhesive tape, scissors and tweezers. Please notify us if any supplies need replenishing during your stay.

General safety tips

• Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and evacuation routes upon arrival.
• Keep emergency contact numbers, including local emergency services and the property manager, readily accessible.
• Exercise caution when using kitchen appliances, heaters, and other electrical devices.
• Do not tamper with or disable any safety equipment, including smoke detectors and fire extinguishers.
• If traveling with children, ensure their safety by supervising them at all times, especially around jacuzzi and sauna.
